Several research works have been discussed specifically for DC’s maintenance, which makes this paper a credible source for researchers, maintenance managers and companies involved in the area of DC. The paper has highlighted the main practical issues of DCs in terms of maintenance management. This paper identifies the issues and challenges for DC buildings and facilities and provides a conclusion of the findings to highlight the main research limitations for discovering new potential methods as future research opportunities. This paper provides an organized and systematic literature review focusing on topics regarding the operation and maintenance (O&M) management of DCs.Īlthough there are several studies on O&M management systems for industrial systems and facilities, a limited number of studies with few methods and models have focused on DCs so far and these facilities require more attention. The purpose of this study is to represent and classify the main findings in this area and to identify the main research gaps and shortcomings from the perspective of research.
DC facilities should provide reliable online services while addressing the required quality and performance level considering maximum reliability and availability. DCs provide online services for various companies in the information technology (IT) industry. One of the most critical infrastructures is a data center (DC) because of it having many servers, computers and other equipment. The results show that by using the inherent flexibility of their power profile on the EPEX spot market the considered data center in 2014 could have earned savings of 7.3% of their power bill. It uses workload shifting and frequency scaling in order to market their flexibility on the EPEX spot market and the secondary reserve market in Germany. A part of the framework is then instantiated and applied to the workload of a real high-performance data center. To achieve this goal, this work presents Sim2Win, a data center simulation framework that can replay any set of different power management strategies in the face of any set of markets for power flexibility. To address this challenge, the goal of the presented work is to provide data centers with a framework that can be flexibly instantiated by each data center to assess its individual demand response potential. This leaves data centers stranded that are not represented by the specific combinations of assumptions and techniques presented in research, and thus a huge potential remains barely touched. Even though lately, demand response with data centers has been well researched, most works focus on just one or two techniques and one or two valorization options. Data centers can profit from this by using power management techniques on all levels of data center architecture: infrastructure, hardware, workload, applications. To support the grid and integrate renewables, demand response schemes reward the power flexibility of energy consumers. Keywords: Women’s leadership, school management, gender perspective. The results showed that the principal in Muara Badak District prefers masculine characters and maintains a feminine character. The qualitative method with a gender perspective is used to identify women’s leadership style in Elementary School 002, Muara Badak District. The research data are in the form of observations and interviews with female school principals and four male vice principals. This paper aims to describe the roles and positions of women in school management. This condition proves women’s low participation in leadership roles because the patriarchal culture still strongly influences people’s perspective. Women’s representation in leadership positions is still low because there is still an opinion that women are not worthy of being leaders and only men are worthy of being leaders.
